CCBI works directly with community groups, including faith-based organizations (FBOs), youth groups, women groups, men groups, other CBOs, and NGOs in partnership to build their capacity, to implement projects (HIV/AIDS, food security, income generation, environment, participatory rural appraisals, participatory monitoring and evaluation, baseline surveys, research, and to conduct needs assessments. CCBI has collaborative relationships with CBOs/community groups in different provinces of Kenya including:
- Coast (Malindi and Kilifi County)
- Eastern (Machakos County)
- Central (Kiambu County)
- Rift Valley (Kajiado County)
- Western (Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega Counties)
- Nyanza (Siaya, Kisumu, Migori, Homa Bay, Migori and Kisii Counties)
CCBI is in partnership and interacts with a large number of community organizations in these counties that are implementing activities at grassroots level. These activities include training, community mobilization, PRA, baseline surveys, research, HIV and AIDS, maternal and child health, income generation activities, and food security, among others.
