Community Capacity Building Initiative provides communities with knowledge, skills and resources to enable them to participate fully in disease management and control, increased income, enhanced social status, and a cleaner environment through sustainable programs. The centre and focus of our activities is the community.

- Advocacy for prevention and treatment of malaria at community level
- Information Education and Communication (IEC) for malaria control and vector management
- Information dissemination and utilization of research results in malaria prevention, vector management, and malaria diagnosis and treatment
- Establishment, strengthening and implementation of referral system for malaria diagnosis and treatment
- Cultural issues in malaria management and prevention
- Behaviour change communication for malaria prevention and control
- Creation of linkages between CBOs, NGOs, FBOs and other community based groups for knowledge and experience sharing
