CCBI, in its efforts to support communities to improve their starndard of living, works with communities through participatory rural appraisal (PRA) to identify problems/challenges within the community. The community then prioritize such challenges in the sequence in which they would want them tackled through projects implelentation.
Taking the communities through the PRA process promotes community support and owership when finally projects are implemented in the community. It also helps communities internalize and appreciate the problems they have and their magnitude.
